Anushka Sharma Begins Shoot for her Next Film PARI, Checkout First Look

Director Prosit Roy makes his Debut with Pari

After Phillauri, actress turned producer Anushka Sharma is all set for her next production, titled as Pari. She is also playing a lead role in the film, opposite to Parambrata Chatterjee. Directed by the debutant Prosit Roy, it’s shooting has begun from June 13.

On June 13, actress took to twitter to share her first look from the film and captioned it as ‘Pari First Look’. The blue-hued picture features de-glam Anushka, which looks haunted and ofcourse promises an intriguing film.

Pari seems completely opposite to it’s title, it gives feel of dark thriller. As of now, the cast and crew of the film are tight lipped regarding it’s story. So we have to wait little more for further details.

Parambrata Chatterjee who will be seen in the film opposite to Anushka, was last seen with Vidya Balan in Kahaani. So far the record of Jab Harry Met Sejal‘s actress in production is good, she chooses unusual projects and Pari looks like another step in the same direction.

Earlier in her statement, Anushka said, “At Clean Slate Films, we focus on a good, engaging story above all else. With new talent, we get to work on newer ideas and innovative concepts. Pari is a great script, and I have complete faith in Prosit’s vision as well as this collaboration with KriArj Entertainment.”

Produced by Anushka’s Clean Slate Films, KriArj Entertainment and Kyta Productions, Pari will be shot in Kolkata and Mumbai, and scheduled to be release next year i.e. 2018.
