First Look of Padmavati, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Film Releases 1st December 2017

Year’s one of the most awaited Hindi films Padmavati has once again hit the headlines with it’s first look posters. Directed by the ace story teller Sanjay Leela Bhansali, it’s a period drama starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in lead roles.

On September 20, makers shared the official logo of Padmavati along with an announcement of it’s first look release. On September 21, Deepika Padukone herself unveiled the first look posters of the film. She tweeted, “देवी स्थापना के शुभ अवसर पर मिलिए रानी पद्मावती से #Padmavati”.

The posters feature the actress Deepika Padukone in a regal look, which created huge buzz on internet. After this now everyone is looking forward and excitedly waiting for the first look of leading males Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.

In padmavati, Deepika Padukone is playing a character of Rani Padmini, while Shahid as his husband Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer as Alauddin Khilji who sieged Chittor fort to capture the beautiful queen.

After the successful epic love story Bajirao Mastani, Padmavati is the second collaboration of Deepika and Ranveer with filmmaker Bhansali, but this time they are not paired opposite to each other. This highly anticipated venture brings Deepika & Shahid together for the first time.

Produced by Bhansali Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Padmavati was earlier scheduled to release on 17 November. But due to protests in Rajasthan, it’s filming got delayed and now the film is slated to release on 1st December 2017.
