Kartik, Nushrat and Sunny’s Next is titled as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, 9 February 2018 Release

Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is Directed by Luv Ranjan

The team of Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 are again reunited and all set to entertain audience in February 2018. After the success of 2015’s comedy film PKP2, director Luv Ranjan is coming back with actors Kartik Aaryan, Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh. Their new collaboration is titled as Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and scheduled to be released on 3rd November 2017 (shifted back to 9 February 2018).

Set in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is a quirky romantic comedy, produced by Luv Ranjan by Bhushan Kumar, Ankur Garg and Luv himself under the banners T-Series Films and Luv Films.

This film was first announced in December last year and since then, team was looking for a quirky and suitable title for the film. Announcing the title, makers released an interesting teaser video that features Kartik, Nushrat and Sunny in an adorable fight with each other.

Instead of making an announcement, they keep fighting and eventually director himself announces the title i.e. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety. It includes the names of characters in the film, Kartik as Sonu, Sunny as Titu and Nushrat as Sweety. With the title and teaser video, it seems kabaab-mein-haddi kind of rom-com.

Director Luv Ranjhan stated, “when Bhushan (Kumar) approached me after PKP 2 what was exciting was his belief in my kind of films. Given Bhushan’s excellent sense of music, and unparalleled marketing muscle, I couldn’t have asked for a better association”.
