Lucknow Central First Look, Farhan Akhtar-Diana Penty starrer to Release on 15 Sept. 2017

Actor & filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is once again ready to cherish his fans with the film, titled Lucknow Central. Inspired by a true incident, it’s a story of an ordinary man Kishen Mohan Girhotra who gets convicted of a murder and sentenced to life imprisonment at the Lucknow Central Jail.

On July 24, first look of Farhan in the film was unveiled on social media. The actor himself took to twitter to share the picture, he captioned, “Ye hai Kishan Mohan Girhotra .. jail mein isse १८२१ (1821) bulaate hain. #LucknowCentral #firstlook #15september2017”.

The picture features Farhan as a convict, wearing a simple outfit, sporting light beard and oiled hair with a tilak on his forehead. Now doubt that the first look of Lucknow Central is distinctive and makes a ramp for it’s trailer release.

With a dream of becoming a Bhojpuri singer, Kishen came from Moradabad but unfortunately gets stuck in a worst situation of his life. He gets convicted in a high profile murder case and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Along with the first look, makers also released four teasers of Lucknow Central, which tell that the film is all about the movement #KishenNirdoshHai, to get justice for Kishen Mohan Girhotra.

Directed by the debutant Ranjit Tiwari, Lucknow Central stars Farhan Akhtar as Kishen Mohan Girhotra, Diana Penty, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Rohit Roy and Rajesh Sharma in pivotal roles. Reportedly Ravi Kishan also has a cameo appearance in the film.

Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, Lucknow Central is scheduled to be released on 15 September 2017.
