Shraddha Kapoor Plays Haseena Parkar in ‘Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai’
For the very first time siblings Shraddha Kapoor & Siddhanth Kapoor are going to share screen with each other in director Apoorva Lakhia’s Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. It is an Indian biographical crime movie, based on the real life of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. The movie is produced by Furquan Khan under the banner Swiss Entertainment and scheduled to be released on 18th August 2017.
After the release of OK Jaanu, Shraddha resumed the shooting of Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. The actress is looking very excited to play one of the most challenging roles of her career so far and to work with her brother for the very first time. In the movie, Shraddha is playing the title role of Haseena Parker, while brother Siddhanth will be seen in the role of Dawood Ibrahim.
Reportedly, the Parker family has already seen few scenes of the movie and they are happy with the way Haseena has been portrayed. As per director Apoorva Lakhia, he & his team are planning to arrange a special screening for the Parkar family with cast & crew of Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai.
Apoorva said, “We are releasing the movie in July, because it’s a good day after Ramadan and Eid. Once the film is ready, we will have a special screening for the cast and crew of the movie, and we will call the Parkar family too,”. First look of Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai was revealed few days back along with its release date.
Note: Earlier Haseena was scheduled to be released on 14th July 2017.
