After Leela Samson giving her resignation, 9 other members were shown door regarding the controversial film MSG-Messanger Of God. And now we hear The Punjab Government today stopped “with immediate effect” the screening of the controversial film MSG.

The members who took exit today followed Leela Samson and accused the government of being cavalier and dismissive in the way they have been treated. Information and broadcasting minister Arun Jaitley referred the board memers as ‘Rebels without a Cause’. Other UPA appointees accused those nine members of politicising the routine issues.

On Samson’s direct allegation of coercion against the government to clear the film featuring Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, Jaitley said neither he nor his colleague Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore  communicated with any member of the Censor Board or desired any bureaucrat to do the same.

Leela Samson who quit citing “Recent cases of interference” as the reason. And also alleged “coercion and corruption of panel members and officers” in the board’s functioning. Looks like the Censor Board is now getting heavily inspired by the famous controversial TV show Bigg Boss.
