11th Day Collection of Fukrey Returns, Crosses 68 Crores Total by 2nd Monday

After the wonderful first week, recently released Fukrey Returns showed excellent performance in the second weekend as well and surpassed the lifetime total of superstar Shahrukh Khan’s Jab Harry Met Sejal. Due to positive word of mouth, it has remained steady throughout so far and emerged as the 12th highest grosser of the year in Hindi cinema.

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey Returns was released with good recall value due to it’s successful prequel Fukrey (2013) and fortunately got succeed to impress everyone. Loaded with laughter, this comedy drama received positive remarks from critics as well as audience and as a result heading unaffectedly at box office despite having new offerings in opposite.

As expected, Excel Entertainment’s production opened to a solid note and showed remarkable growth over the weekend. By holding well in weekdays, it did the business of 50.55 crores in the opening week, that included 32.20 crores of weekend and 18.35 crores from 1500 screens across the country.

Now the movie is running in it’s second week and once again reported superb growth over the weekend. In the second weekend, it raked the business of 15.56 crores, that included 3.31 crores of Friday, 5.15 crores of Saturday and 7.10 crores of Sunday. After 10 days of release, total collection of Fukrey Returns was recorded as 66.11 crores.

On the next day i.e. 2nd Monday being normal working day, Pulkit Samrat & Varun Sharma starrer witnessed approx. 32% of drop than Friday and minted the amount of 2.25 crores. With this, 11 days total collection of Fukrey Returns has become 68.36 crores at domestic box office.
