‘Kapoor & Sons’ 14 Days Total Earning Report

Shakun Batra’s directorial family entertainer Kapoor & Sons has completed its 2 weeks journey at box office on an impressive note. The movie has been released with decent initial hype among audience but positive reviews of critics, generated strong word of mouth about it and made it third highest grosser of the year so far after Airlift and Neerja. Audience find it very entertaining and connecting due to which they showed big thumbs up for Kapoor & Sons. Despite new releases, this movie performed outstandingly through out.

In its very first week, this Karan Johar’s productional movie had raked the business of 46.93 crores, that includes 35.93 crores of weekend and 11 crores of weekdays. In its second weekend, Kapoor & Sons had recorded well and minted the amount of 12.09 crores including 4.21 crores of Friday, 4.24 crores of Saturday and 3.64 crores of Sunday. Not only from India but from overseas market too, it reported overwhelmed response and collected 35.65 crores in 10 days from there.

In weekdays, as usual Kapoor & Sons witnessed lesser response than weekend but still remained steady. With gradual drops in its business, it has minted the amount of 1.80 crore on Monday, 1.70 crore on Tuesday and 1.35 crore on Wednesday. On the last day of week, the movie received slight more drop and added 1.20 crore to its account; made its domestic total as 65.07 crores. Now from this Friday Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer much awaited romantic comedy movie Ki & Ka is being release, so it would not be easy to compete with new release.
