This Friday released three Hindi offerings- Fanney Khan, Mulk & Karwaan have got a terrible opening across the country. Existing ones have also faced an abrupt drop but still, they are better than the new releases. Although except Fanney Khan, rest two are getting positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience.
Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Rajkummar Rao starrer musical drama Fanney Khan is the biggest release of this week with higher screen count and of course higher star power. But unfortunately, it hasn’t got succeed to satisfy many viewers and as a result remained low throughout the day.
Directed by Atul Manjrekar, T-Series’ presentation opened on a dull note in the morning and ended the day at 2.15 crores with limited growth post noon shows. Let see how much rise it will witness in footfalls over the weekend with mixed feedback.
On the other hand, Rishi Kapoor & Taapsee Pannu starrer intense drama Mulk has received positive reactions from the critics for its strong plot and powerful performances by the leading actors. Despite this, it got failed to pull enough crowd toward theaters and minted 1.68 crores on Friday.
While the third one Irrfan Khan, Salman Dulquer & Mithila Palkar starrer drama film Karwaan has also got succeed to connect with the audience but remained low throughout the day due to clutter and managed to collect 1.60 crores on its opening day domestically.
