1st Day Collection of Vivegam, Ajith Kumar’s Film Takes Tremendous Opening in Tamil Nadu

As expected the latest offering of Thala Ajith Kumar, Vivegam is getting rave response from the fans as well as audience post release and registered tremendous opening at box office across the Tamil state. The film witnessed almost 100% occupancy in Tamil Nadu on the opening day and this is the power of Ajith’s stardom.

Ajith Kumar has completed 25 glorious years in the industry and Vivegam is his 57th film. Being associated with him, this action thriller is one of the most waited Tamil films of the year and loudly buzzing among fans as well as moviegoers since the time when it was announced.

Directed by Siva, it stars Vivek Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in lead roles alongside Ajith and all the actors have performed brilliantly. Most of the critics have reacted in the favor and as per them, Vivegam is the mass entertainer with high octane actions.

On the opening day, Ajith Kumar starrer recorded outstanding occupancy in Tamil Nadu (tax free) on 800 screens and grossed the business of 17.20 crores. While from rest of India, it has raked the business of 8.70 crores with an excellent occupancy.

Ajith’s previous offering Vedalam did the opening business of 15.50 crores from 520 screens in Tamil Nadu, while Yennai Arindhaal opened on 11 crores. Vivegam has higher number of screens, so expected to remain strong over the opening weekend.
