After last year’s A Flying Jatt, our own Indian Tony Jaa Tiger Shroff is back to entertain the audience with his latest offering Munna Michael. It is the first Indian action-dance movie, starring the very talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui and debutante Nidhhi Agerwal opposite to Tiger in pivotal roles.

Munna Michael 2 Days Total Box Office Collection

Directed by Sabbir Khan, Munna Michael is the third movie of Tiger with him after 2014’s Heropanti and 2016’s Baaghi. Both their last movies were successful at box office, so this is why the latest one has also been released with the same expectations on Friday. But unfortunately it hasn’t got any impressive start.

As Tiger Shroff has huge fan following among teenagers, so Munna Michael had good pre release buzz. But still it recorded lower footfalls in theaters than expected on the opening day and also received mixed reviews from critics as well as viewers.

While fans and some audience found it entertaining and got impressed by the full fledged dancing & action skills of Tiger. As per critics, weak script is the spoiler which pulls the movie back despite good efforts of the actors.

On the opening day, Munna Michael did the business of 6.65 crores from 3000 screens, while it was predicted to take the start of 9-10 crores at domestic box office. With this, it emerged as the tenth highest opening of the year so far in Hindi Cinema.

Tiger and director Sabbir’s previous collaborations Heropanti had opened up at 6.63 crores on 2200 screens and Baaghi at 11.94 crores on 2750 screens. While Tiger’s last movie A Flying Jatt started it’s journey with the opening business of 7.10 crores on 2600 screens.

So considering the facts, Munna Michael is the least performing movie of Tiger Shroff’s career so far. On Saturday, due to mixed reactions it faced slight drop and garnered the business of 6.32 crores. With this, total 2 days collection of the movie has become 12.97 crores domestically.

On the other hand, another Hindi offering Lipstick Under My Burkha is getting positive reviews from critics as well as viewers due to it’s hard-hitting content. On Friday, this drama movie registered the business of 1.22 crore from 400 screens. While on Saturday, with decent growth it collected 2.17 crores.
