The latest family entertainer movie Piku is doing good at Box Office. Amitabh Bachchan & Deepika Padukone starrer Piku was released on this Friday with average craze among audience. But at the end of the day, movie was got huge positive comments and reviews. The collection of the movie on its first day was decent; its was 5.32 Cr from Indian screens; but the response coming from audience was marvelous.

Before release, it was expected that the movie will do decent business at Box Office and the adjacent release Sunny Leone starrer Kuch Kuch Locha Hai will dominate it as Piku is a simple sober looking story and Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is full of glamour and masala that youth audience likes. But once again, audience proved that they loves beautiful stories and has shown thumbs up to Piku.

In result of the first day response for Piku, the movie has showed a massive growth on Saturday; closed at 8.70 Cr and made its 2 days total collection to 14.02 Cr. This shows how much audience loved it, also proves the quality of the movie. Audience liked the typical Indian looks of hot ‘n’ happening Deepika and also once again Big B proves the irony of his talent as he showed in movie Paa & yes in Samitabh too.

Whereas the opposite movie Kuch Kuch Locha Hai which was expected to do better business than Piku; has not find it space properly at box office and didn’t even made 1 Cr a day.

Anyways, this wonderful collection stats of Piku will definitely make a super positive environment for it and encourage more audience to come and watch this “Fatherly Daughterly Delicious” movie once.
