3rd Day Collection of Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri, Sushant-Kriti Starrer Struggles at Box Office

Raabta and Behen Hogi Teri Opening Weekend Total Collection

After a decent start on Friday, Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta got failed to take considerable jump over the weekend. Due to confusing storyline, it received unfavorable reviews from critics as well as viewers, which caused much loss to it’s hype.

On the opening day, Dinesh Vijan’s directorial Raabta reported lesser occupancy than expected and did the decent business of 5.61 crores. With this, it registered the 8th highest opening of the year so far in Hindi cinema.

On Saturday despite being weekend, it dropped by slight rate and minted the amount of 5.11 crores. On the next day i.e. Sunday due to India Vs South Africa cricket match, Raabta recorded slightly higher response and raked 5.21 crores; made it’s opening weekend total as 15.93 crores from 1820 screens.

On the other hand, Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan starrer Behen Hogi Teri was released with average hype among audience and got failed to attract audience in theaters despite little better reviews than Raabta.

On the opening day, Ajay K Pannalal’s directorial witnessed only 5-10% of occupancy and minted the amount of 0.32 crore. On Saturday, with slight jump this romantic comedy managed to collect 0.45 crore.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, India Vs South Africa cricket match caused much loss to Behen Hogi Teri also. With almost similar response and fetched 0.52 crore; raised it’s opening weekend total to 1.29 crore from 757 screens nationwide.
