3rd Day Collection of War For The Planet Of The Apes, Crosses 9 Crore Total from India

Third installment of the popular American franchise Planet Of The Apes, War For The Planet Of The Apes was released this Friday in India and has received positive reviews from critics as well as viewers. But still it got failed to attract major segment of audience across the country and completed the weekend on an average note.

3 Days Total India Collection of War For The Planet Of The Apes

As per critics, War For The Planet Of The Apes is an epic adventure drama that keeps the faith of fans alive towards the series. The movie has impressed everyone across the globe and doing great internationally, but in India it got failed to perform like Spider Man Homecoming.

After the impressive performance of Spider Man Homecoming in last week at Indian box office, this one too was expected to dominate Hindi offerings this week. But keeping all expectations aside, Jagga Jasoos picked up well over the weekend and took heavy lead over War For The Planet Of The Apes from the very first day.

On the opening day, this Matt Reeves’ directorial venture recorded 20% of occupancy across India and did the business of 2.20 crores from approx. 1000 screens. Due to positive word of mouth, it showed slight jump on Saturday but still remained below-decent and collected 2.55 crores.

On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, War For The Planet Of The Apes witnessed some more growth in footfalls and garnered the business of 2.75 crores. With this, the total collection of the movie after the opening weekend has become 7.50 crores at Indian box office.
