‘X Men: Apocalypse’ Completes Opening Weekend on a Good Note
This Friday released, one of the much awaited Hollywood movies of the year ‘X Men: Apocalypse’ has completed its opening weekend journey on a good note. It has been released with much hype and buzz among audience across India, a week before than its US release. The movie has received mixed reviews from critics but most of the audience found it entertaining and showed thumbs up to it. As a result it has reported good performance through out its opening weekend on Indian box office.
On the first day, it reported amazing occupancy of almost 50% across the country and minted the amount of 4.51 cr. The business figure was good enough as compare to its screen count and higher than adjacent Hindi release Sarbjit. Due to positive buzz, it showed decent growth on Saturday in its occupancy as well as business and raked the amount of 5.65 cr as its second day collection. After two days, total collection of X Men: Apocalypse was recorded as 10.16 cr on Indian box office.
On the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, being holiday it received the higher response than last two days and added the amount of 6.05 cr to its account. After the third day, total weekend collection of X Men: Apocalypse is recorded as 16.21 cr from India. Now the movie is being entered in weekdays and being normal days it is expected to loose half of its hold over audience.
