49th Day Collection of Baahubali 2, India’s Biggest Blockbuster Completes 7 Weeks at Box Office

Second installment of the franchise Baahubali directed by SS Rajamouli, Baahubali 2 has proudly completed 7 weeks of release at domestic as well as worldwide box office. After starting the journey on an earth shattering note and this epic action drama maintained the pace and emerged as India’s biggest blockbuster ever.

Superstar Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 has dominated all the movie came in it’s way so far. Also it shattered all previous box office records of Indian cinema except one, which is being hold by Aamir Khan’s Dangal, the highest grossing Indian movie worldwide.

In the seventh weekend, sequel to 2015’s Baahubali fetched the business of 2.87 crores (Hindi 1.26 Cr | TTM 1.61 Cr) that included 0.75 crores (Hindi 0.32 Cr | TTM 0.43 Cr) of Friday, 0.97 crore (Hindi 0.43 Cr | TTM 0.54 Cr) of Saturday and  1.15 crore (Hindi 0.51 Cr | TTM 0.64 Cr) of Sunday.

Then in weekdays, Baahubali 2 faced usual drop in footfalls due to normal working days but still managed to remain almost steady. With slight fall than last Friday, it added the amount of 0.67 crore (Hindi 0.29 Cr | TTM 0.38 Cr) on Monday, 0.60 crore (Hindi 0.26 Cr | TTM 0.34 Cr) on Tuesday and 0.53 crore (Hindi 0.23 Cr | TTM 0.30 Cr) on Wednesday.

On the next day i.e. 7th Thursday, the movie recorded more drop and minted the amount of 0.48 crores including 0.21 crore from Hindi and 0.27 crore combined from Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam screens across the country. Before this, on an incredible note Baahubali 2 registered the business of 1018.60 (Hindi 508.78 Cr | TTM 512.07 Cr) in last 6 weeks.

Now after 7 weeks, total domestic collection of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus has become 1023.75 crores nett. with 508.78 crores of Hindi and 514.97 crores of rest other versions at domestic box office.
