4th Day Collection of Jab Harry Met Sejal JHMS, Earns 53 Crores Total with 1st Monday

After Salman Khan, another superstar is getting failed at box office in this year. Yes we are talking about Shahrukh Khan, whose recent offering Jab Harry Met Sejal started the journey on a below-the-belt note and didn’t witness any considerable growth over the weekend.

Directed by Imtiaz Ali, romantic drama Jab Harry Met Sejal was released with huge expectations but unfortunately it received mixed reviews from critics as well as audience and got failed to attract much audience toward theaters despite having solid star power.

On the opening day, SRK-Anushka’s latest collaboration recorded good occupancy of 40-45% across the country for morning shows but remained almost flat throughout and did the business of 15.25 crores, which is good enough but lower than the mark that suits for superstar badge.

On Saturday, instead of growth the movie dropped by little and raked the business of 15 crores due to mixed reactions. Then on Sunday, despite being a public holiday Jab Harry Met Sejal took limited jump and garnered the amount of 15.50 crores.

After the opening weekend, total collection of Red Chillies Entertainment’s production was recorded as 45.75 crores from 3200 screens at domestic box office. Due to the festival Raksha Bandhan, there was a full fledged holiday on Monday and this is why the movie was expected to remain steady.

But unfortunately on Monday instead of SRK-Anushka’s romantic drama, family audience got diverted towards family entertainer Mubarakan. As a result, Jab Harry Met Sejal recorded considerable drop in footfalls despite holiday and collected the amount of 7.15 crores. With this, it’s total collection has become 52.90 crores after 4 days of release. Now weekdays seem to be difficult for JHMS.
