4th Day Collection of Toilet Ek Prem Katha TEPK, Akshay-Bhumi Starrer Remains Good on Monday

After an impressive opening weekend, year’s one of the most anticipated movies Toilet Ek Prem Katha is showing strong hold over the audience in weekdays as well. Due to partial holiday on Monday, Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer remained good at box office and garnered an excellent business.

Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, this satirical romantic drama has received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as audience because of it’s solid content and brilliant acting by cast. Almost everyone has found TEPK entertaining and appreciated the performances given by Akshay & Bhumi.

On the opening day, Toilet Ek Prem Katha started the journey on a decent note but picked up very well post noon shows and did the business of 13.10 crores. With this, it has emerged as the 6th highest opener of the year so far in Hindi film industry and 9th highest of Akshay’s career.

On Saturday being weekend and due to positive word of mouth, the movie showed fair jump of 30.5% in it’s business graph and minted the amount of 17.10 crores. Then on Sunday with further growth of around 24%, it raked the business of 21.25 crores and raised it’s opening weekend total collection to 51.45 crores on 3000 screens nationwide.

Now Toilet Ek Prem Katha has been entered in weekdays and as usual started getting lesser footfalls in theaters than weekend. On Monday due to partial holiday across India on accounts of Krishna Janmashtami, Akshay-Bhumi starrer remained good and bagged the amount of 12 crores domestically.

With this, total collection of TEPK after 4 days of release has become 63.45 crores at domestic box office. Now there is a public holiday on Tuesday due to Independence Day, so the movie is positively expected to add higher business to it’s account on fifth day.
