5th Day Collection of Mubarakan, Arjun Kapoor’s Film Goes Past 29 Cr Total with 1st Tuesday

Arjun Kapoor’s latest offering Mubarakan was started it’s journey at box office this Friday on a decent note, but picked up impressively well over the weekend because of positive reactions it is getting from audience. From critics also, it has received favorable reviews.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, Mubarakan reported an average occupancy on the opening day and registered the twelfth highest opening of the year so far in Hindi cinema with 5.16 crores. Then on Saturday being weekend, it showed fair growth of around 43% and raked 7.38 crores.

On Sunday, this romantic comedy drama took more jump and garnered the business of 10.37 crores. After the opening weekend, total collection of Mubarakan was recorded as 22.91 crores from 2350 screens across the country.

Now the film is running in weekdays and getting lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On Monday it faced 31.20% of drop than Friday and did the business of 3.55 crores. With further slight drop on Tuesday, Mubarakan added 3.45 crores to it’s account and raised 5 days total collection to 29.91 crores at domestic box office.

Weekdays are very crucial for this family entertainer, as it has only this week to prove the potential. Because from coming Friday, Shahrukh Khan & Anushka Sharma starrer much awaited romantic drama Jab Harry Met Sejal is all set to hijack the box office.

Alongside Arjun, Mubarakan starring Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz and Athiya Shetty in lead roles. All the actors have given their best, but the one who impressed a lot is none other than young-at-60 Anil Kapoor. Arjun’s performance is also being liked by everyone.
