6th Day Collection of A Gentleman & Babumoshai Bandookbaaz at Domestic Box Office

Fox Star Studios’ recent presentation A Gentleman has got failed to impress most of the critics as well as audience, as a result passed the opening weekend on a disappointing note and witnessed regular drops in weekdays. Directed by Raj & DK has no chance of improvement in the next week, as much awaited Baadshaho is being released coming Friday.

Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer this romantic action movie A Gentleman didn’t gain desired pre-release hype despite good star power, budget and promotions. So it was released with decent buzz and registered a below-expected opening with an average occupancy.

Due to mixed reviews, the movie remained almost flat over the opening weekend and did the business of 13.13 crores from around 2500 screens across the country. This was included 4.04 crores of Friday, 4.36 crores of Saturday and 4.73 crores of Sunday.

Now A Gentleman is running in weekdays and getting more lower response from audience. With around 50% of fall than Friday, it minted the amount of 2.03 crores of Monday. Then on Tuesday, it faced more drop and collected the amount of 1.60 crore.

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, the movie witnessed little growth and garnered the business of 1.71 crore. With this total collection of A Gentleman after 6 days, has become 18.47 crores at domestic box office.

On the other hand, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer crime drama Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has also received mixed reviews from critics but got succeed to satisfy audience. In the opening weekend, it showed decent growth and did the business of 7.53 crores with 2.05 crores of Friday, 2.41 crores of Saturday and 3.07 crores of Sunday.

In weekdays, with considerable drops it minted the amount of 1.38 crore on Monday and 1.21 crore on Tuesday. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Babumoshai Bandookbaaz scored 1.12 crore and raised it’s 6 days domestic total to 11.24 crores.
