Latest Offerings from Punjabi Cinema, Witnesses Terrific Audience Response Worldwide
The two much anticipated Punjabi movies- ‘Ardaas’ and ‘Love Punjab’ have been clashed this Friday with huge buzz among among audience. Both the movies had started on an excellent at box office and received very positive reviews from critics. The super positive reactions of audience have raised their hype to next level. After a long time gap, Punjabi Cinema has offered such good movies and that is the reason audience showing immense craze for Ardaas and Love Punjab. Not only in India but in overseas market too, these movies are getting terrific response from audience.
Associated with very popular stars of Punjab Gippy Grewal and Amrinder Gill, both the movies are strongly buzzing around. Almost all the theaters of their dominated region Punjab, had reported all the shows as houseful in opening weekend. Gippy Grewal’s debut directorial movie Ardaas is being appreciated by everyone because of its sensitive content and intense performances of star cast. In the opening weekend, it had minted the amount of 4.50 crores* including 1.30 crore* of Friday, 1.55 crore* of Saturday and 1.65 crore* of Sunday.
On the other hand, Amrinder Gill starrer Love Punjab is also getting very positive response from audience and setting fire at overseas box office, especially in Australia and New Zealand. The movie had raked the business of total 4.40 crores* in its first weekend, that includes 1.20 crore* of Friday, 1.45 crore* of Saturday and 1.75 crore* of Sunday.
Now both are running in weekdays and asusual reporting lesser footfall than weekend. In last 3 weekdays, Love Punjab has collected the business figure of 1 crore* on Monday, 0.91 crore* on Tuesday and 0.80 crore* on Wednesday. Whereas Ardaas added the amount of 0.99 crore* on Monday, 0.84 crore* on Tuesday and 0.75 crore* on Wednesday. Till the end of their 6th day, total domestic collections of Love Punjab and Ardaas have become 7.11 crores* and 7.08 crores* respectively.
