6th Day Collection of Mahesh Babu’s Spyder, Holds Well on Monday due to Gandhi Jayanti Holiday

Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest offering Spyder has thoroughly enjoyed the extended festive weekend at box office and also showed good hold over the audience across India on Monday due to holiday on account of Gandhi Jayanti. Despite having last week’s Jai Lava Kusa in opposite and mixed critics reviews, it is getting wonderful response globally.

The highly awaited Telugu & Tamil bilingual movie Spyder is directed by AR Murugadoss, starring Rakul Preet Singh opposite to Mahesh Babu in lead role. Unfortunately it received mixed reviews from critics but audience found it very much thrilling and showing thumbs up.

On the opening day, this spy thriller recorded outstanding occupancy across south India as well as overseas and did the business of 51 crores worldwide, that included 23.40 crores of AP/TS. On Thursday, asusual it witnessed considerable drop and raked the business of 17 crores globally (7 crores AP/TS).

With further drop Spyder raked the business of 11 crores gross (6 crores AP/TS) on Friday. On Saturday due to Dussehra holiday, the movie witnessed some growth in India and minted the amount of 10.25 crores gross including 6.25 crores of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.

On Sunday, Mahesh Babu starrer grossed the business of 10.85 crores worldwide which included 6.35 crores of Telugu states. With this, total collection of Spyder has become 100.10 crores at global box office including 49 crores of AP/TS.

Now the movie has been entered in weekdays but due to Gandhi Jayanti holiday on Monday, it remained decent and garnered the business of 5.90 crores gross (4 crores AP/TS) to make it’s 6 days total collection 106 crores.
