6th Day Collection of Secret Superstar, Zaira Wasim’s Film Fails to Stay Steady in Weekdays

After a decent opening, recent musical drama managed to attain good pace over the weekend. But despite positive word of mouth, the film is getting failed to stay steady in weekdays due to having a biggie Golmaal Again in opposite. It seems like now a days audience is in mood of watching frivolous content instead of logical.

Since when the producer Aamir Khan made an announcement, Secret Superstar is having good buzz among fans. Also with it’s promos it made strong impact on viewers, that is why the film was expected to give heavy competition to adjacent offering Golmaal Again after the release.

As expected Dangal girl Zaira Wasim starrer received positive reviews from everyone but witnessed lesser occupancy in theaters on the opening day than expected due to Diwali puja and did the business of 4.80 crores. Post Diwali, it picked up well and raked the business of 9.25 crores on Friday, 8.55 crores on Saturday and 8.50 crores on Sunday.

After the opening weekend, total collection of Secret Superstar was recorded as 31.10 crores from around 1750 screens across the country. Now the film is running in weekdays and unfortunately loosing hold over the audience as most of them are preferring Golmaal Again.

On Monday Advait Chandan’s directorial faced 36.50% of drop than Thursday and minted the amount of 3.05 crores. With further drop, Secret Superstar garnered the business of 2.75 crores and raised it’s 6 days total collection to 36.90 crores at domestic box office.
