9th Day Collection of Jagga Jasoos- this Musical Adventure Earns 50 Crore Total

Anurag Basu’s latest directorial offering Jagga Jasoos is now running in the second weekend and has newly released Munna Michael in opposite. Because of getting delayed number of times, this musical adventure movie lost most of it’s hype before the release and was released last week with a decent buzz despite high star power.

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos received mixed reviews from critics as well as viewers. But still it showed fair growth over the opening weekend due to the support of fans. Unfortunately in weekdays, the movie got failed to stay steady and crashed down abruptly which was very disappointing.

In the first week, Jagga Jasoos did the business of 46.29 crores, that included 33.17 crores of weekend and 13.12 crores of weekdays from approx. 1800 screens across the country. Due to it’s unnecessarily hiked budget of 110 crores, weekdays were very crucial for Ranbir-Katrina’s this latest collaboration.

Now the movie has been entered in it’s second week and has already lost much hold over the audience within in the opening week. On 2nd Friday, Jagga Jasoos witnessed 43% of drop than previous day and minted the amount of 1.44 crore.

Then on next day i.e. Saturday being weekend, it recorded decent growth in footfalls and raked the business of 2.45 crore. With this, total 9 days collection of the movie has become 50.18 crores at domestic box office. By the second weekend, Jagga Jasoos seems to collect over 53 crores from Indian screens.
