Trivikram Srinivas’ Directorial ‘A Aa Movie’ gets Well on Box Office!

Director Trivikram Srinivas’ recent venture, romantic comedy ‘A Aa’ has taken an amazing start at box office on Thursday. The movie has received very positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Not only in India but in overseas too, it is getting overwhelmed response from Telugu audience.

A Aa is loosely based on the popular novel Meena written by Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani and starring Nithin, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles. It has been released on 580 screens across Telugu states – Andhra Pradesh & Telangana and registered highest opening of Nithin’s career so far.

On the opening day, A Aa witnessed amazing response from audience and collected the amount of 5.76 crores on AP/T box office, that includes 2.30 crores from Nizam, 0.75 crore from Ceded Districts, 0.55 crore from Vizag, 0.56 crore from Godavari East, 0.50 crore from Godavari West, 0.50 crore from Guntur, 0.40 crore from Krishna, 0.20 crore from Nellore.

On the next day i.e. Friday, it reported slightly lesser than Thursday but still stands well and minted the amount of around 3.50 crores on AP/T box office. In USA, A Aa has been released on Wednesday and has raked the business of total 5.73 crores from there so far. It includes 1.69 crore of Wednesday, 1.53 crore of Thursday and 2.51 crore of Friday.

On Saturday, being weekend it witnessed lesser response than Friday and added the amount of 3.20 crores* to its account. At the end of 3rd day, total collection A Aa is recorded as 12.46 crores* across Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. It is positively expected to touch the mark of 15 crores till this weekend.
