Finally! Akshay Kumar’s latest offering ‘Airlift’ has entered in the 100 crore club at domestic box office. It has become the fourth film of Akshay to enter in this club after Housefull 2, Rowdy Rathore and Holiday. The film was released last week with huge excitement of star fans and audience. As expected it received super positive reviews from all the critics and come out as one of the most strong films in Bollywood. Entire star cast has performed very well, especially the lead star Akshay Kumar has given brilliant performance and is being praised by everyone for it.

In its very first week, Airlift reported excellent response of audience across the country and raked the business of total 83.50 crores, that includes 44.30 crores of weekend and 39.20 crores of weekdays. Very impressively this first big hit film of the year, is heading towards setting new records at box office. Must say, it is getting complete benefit of its strong content and of course the perfect releasing time.

Airlift is now running its second week and has just completed its second weekend with commendable performance despite of two new releases Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos. On Friday, the film was recorded the decent occupancy and did the business of 4.50 crores. On next day being Saturday, it witnessed considerable jump and minted the amount of 6.50 crores from Indian screens.

On its 10th day of release, being Sunday Airlift has reported terrific response and remained the first choice of viewers. Craze of audience clearly shows, that this inspiring film still has good hold over them. On the last day of weekend, it grossed the amount of 8.26 crores and made its total to 102.76 crores from India. With such tremendous performance, Airlift has become the fastest 100 crore grosser of Akshay’s career at domestic box office.
