Airlift 7th Day Collection, Surpasses Rowdy Rathore’s Record of 1st Week

‘Airlift’ has Completed 7 Days Journey with Proud!

Last Friday released war thriller film ‘Airlift’ of superstar Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, has completed its 7 days journey at box office. The film was released on 22nd of January with huge excitement of star fans as well as audience. Because of powerful content, brilliant performances and flawless direction, it has received super positive reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. Audience find it very gripping and showed big thumb up to it. The lead star has given best performance of his career till date and is being praised for it by everyone.

Airlift has taken the box office by storm and has grossed excellent business figures through out the first week. In the opening weekend, it did the business of total 44.30 crores from Indian screens, that includes 12.35 crores of Friday, 14.60 crores of Saturday and 17.35 crores of Sunday. Now only in India but in overseas too, it has recorded overwhelmed response from audience and raked the business of 18.86 crores from there in the weekend.

From weekdays, mostly films witnesses abrupt fall in the business graph as well as response but Airlift was collected the excellent amount of 10.40 crores on Monday. Next day being the Republic Day of the nation, it was recorded impressive growth in the business and minted the amount of 17.80 crores as its fifth day collection. On Wednesday, it faced slightly higher drop than expected but still stands good. It was added the amount of 6 crores to its account as its sixth day collection.

On the last day of week, it witnessed almost similar response and done the business of 5 crores. Till the end of 7th day, total one week collection of the film is recorded as 83.50 crores from India only. With this total, Airlift has dominated the opening week collection record of Akshay’s Rowdy Rathore (79.52 crores). As per the report, this true event based film has entered in 100 crore club at worldwide box office and heading smoothly to achieve the same on domestic box office too. From this Friday, two new films of different genres Mastizaade and Saala Khadoos are being released. Let see how much impact these films will put on the business of Airlift.
