Ambarsariya 4th Day Collection; Punjabi Film Impresses with its Performance

Diljit Dosanjh’s Ambarsariya Sets New Peak for Punjabi Cinema

One of the most anticipated Punjabi films of 2016, Ambarsariya has started on an excellent note at box office across the country as well as in overseas. The film has released on Friday with huge excitement of Punjabi audience and witnessed terrific opening response worldwide. Diljit Dosanjh starrer this action drama film has received very positive reviews from the critics, which has generated strong word of mouth about it among audience. In dominated regions of India like Punjab, NCR etc and in overseas centers like Canada, New Zealand, Australia, UK, USA etc., almost all the theaters have reported houseful through out its opening weekend.

With outstanding performance at box office, Ambarsariya did the business of total 6.20 crores in the weekend from Indian screens, that includes 2.10 crores of Friday, 2.05 crores of Saturday and 2.05 crores of Sunday. In overseas market, it acquired the second position with 5.34 crores of business after Love Punjab. The overseas collection includes 1.24 crore from US, 1.51 crore from Canada, 0.94 crore from UK, 1.26 crores from Australia and 0.44 crore from New Zealand.

Now the film has entered in weekdays and asusual started getting lesser response than weekend but still has good hold over audience. On Monday, it witnessed 40% drop in its business and minted the amount of 1.30 crore as its 4th day collection at domestic box office and made its total collection as 7.50 crores. From overseas also, it performed quite well and added impressive amount to its account.
