‘Baahubali’ 27th Day Collection: Now the 3rd Highest Grosser Indian Movie of 2015

Almost 4 weeks ago released, the magnum opus of Indian Cinema Baahubali has already become the biggest blockbuster of India. This S.S. Rajamouli directorial movie has registered number of records to its accounts and now added one more in the list, that is third highest grosser Indian movie of year 2015 so far by dominating ABCD 2. It has already crossed the mark of 350 crores at domestic box office including all its versions and 500 crores at worldwide box office. With its Hindi version only, Baahubali has done the business of more than 100 crores and it is the first Hindi dubbed movie to enter in this club.

Now Baahubali is in its 4th week, the pace of the movie has been slowed down but still it is heading forward and collecting more than 1 crore in a day. In its first week, it was performed so terrifically at box office in India as well as in overseas. Everyone was just stunned after seeing huge figures it was making even in weekdays. It is the fastest 100 crores grosser movie in India so far. In its first week it made 46.77 crores with its Hindi version only and 26.38 crores in the second week. In its second week it was faced competition due to release of Hindi movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Tamil movie Maari, but still it managed to collect excellent figures. It made 22.61 crores in its third week from Hindi screens only.

Till the end of its third week, total collection of the movie was 95.76 crores. In its fourth weekend, Baahubali again showed growth and made total 7.70 crores that includes 1.60 crore of Friday, 2.70 crores of Saturday and 3.40 crores of Sunday. On Monday being the weekday, it faced drop of more than 50% and minted 1.20 crore as its 25th day collection. On Tuesday with almost similar response, it managed to collect 1.10 crore. Yesterday was it 27th day of release and it was faced a little drop than last day; made around 1 crore.
