Badhaai Ho 9th Day Box Office Collection, Ayushmann-Sanya’s Film Continues to Score Well

Last Thursday released comedy-drama Badhaai Ho has registered a phenomenal opening week and also dominated the parallel-running bigger offering Namaste England. Due to positive word of mouth, it remained strong throughout across the single as well as multi-screen cinemas.

Starring Ayushmann Khurrana & Sanya Malhotra in lead roles, Badhaai Ho has received mostly positive reviews from the critics as well as the audience because of its entertaining & quirky content. As a result, it is getting an excellent response at the box office.

After a good opening, Amit Sharma’s directorial showed a healthy jump over the 4-days extended weekend due to Dussehra holiday and did the business of 45.70 crores that included 7.35 crores on Thursday, 11.85 crores on Friday, 12.80 crores on Saturday & 13.70 crores on Sunday.

Then on weekdays as well, it remained strong and minted the amount of 5.65 crores on Monday, 5.50 crores on Tuesday, 5 crores on Wednesday & 4.25 crores on 2nd Thursday. After the 8-days extended week, the total collection of Badhaai Ho was recorded at 66.10 crores.

Now the movie has entered in the second weekend and still has a very good hold over the audience despite several new Hindi offerings. On 2nd Friday, it faced a drop of 20% and bagged the amount of 3.40 crores. After 9 days, its total collection has become 69.50 crores nett at the domestic box office.
