Bajirao Mastani 10th Day Collection, Crosses 120 Cr till 2nd Weekend on Indian Screens

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is strongly chasing Dilwale

Very versatile actors of Bollywood Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone & Priyanka Chopra are on limelight these days, because of their brilliant performances in last week released Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani. The movie was released on 18th of December opposite to SRK-Kajol starrer Dilwale. Both movies had very good hype among audience and resulted out in loss for each other, whether in terms of screens or business. Bajirao Mastani has received very strong reviews from critics as well as moviegoers. It did lesser business in its first weekend than Dilwale but due to strong word of mouth, witnessed higher response in weekdays.

In the opening week, Bajirao Mastani was recorded decent occupancy through out and minted total 86.15 crores that comprises 46.77 crores of weekend and 39.38 crores of weekdays. From its overseas screens also. the movie did very well in first week. With such terrific performance at box office, it has listed among top 10 highest grosser movies of the year and still heading smoothly with good hold over audience.

Bajirao Mastani is now running in its second week and showing better performance than Dilwale. The movie that was dominated by its adjacent release in the opening weekend, had started taking over from the weekdays. On Monday, the movie witnessed impressive growth in its business due to Christmas holiday and raked the amount of 12.25 crores as its 8th day collection. Then on Saturday, it was recorded less response and minted 10.30 crores. Sunday has resulted out better and the movie added 11.75 crores to its account on Indian screens. Till the end of its 10th day, total collection of Bajirao Mastani is calculated as 120.45 crores.
