Bajirao Mastani 16th Day Collection, Beats TWMR Record on Indian Box Office

SLB’s Bajirao Mastani takes jump again!

Magnum opus Bajirao Mastani is again witnessing jump in its business graph from this weekend. The movie was released on 18th of December with good hype among audience. It was received very strong response from audience as well as critics, which has resulted out in extreme favor of the movie at Indian box office. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s presentation Bajirao Mastani has dominated the adjacent release Shahrukh Khan starrer Dilwale within two weeks of release. This is really an appreciable achievement for this historical love story. It was started with decent pace on box office but the positive word of mouth and steady business have turned to great success. Now it has become the third highest grosser movie of year 2015 after Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

Bajirao Mastani Collection Report

Bollywood’s very versatile names Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer Bajirao Mastani was recorded decent occupancy in its first week through out and minted the amount of 86.15 crores, comprised of 46.77 crores in weekend and 39.38 crores in weekdays. In the next week, it was witnessed only approx. 30% of drop and raked 55.70 crores on Indian screens, included 34.30 crores of weekend and 21.40 crores of weekdays. Till the end of second week, total collection of Bajirao Mastani was calculated as 141.85 crores.

Now the movie has entered in its third week and started the week with decent jump in its business. It has witnessed higher response on its 15th day and raked 7.50 crores. On the next day also it has received slightly less response and minted the amount of 6 crores. Till the end of its 16th day, Bajirao Mastani‘s total domestic business is recorded as 155.35 crores. With this total, it has surpassed the lifetime collection of Eros International’s previous presentation Tanu Weds Manu Returns and become third highest grosser movie of last year 2015.
