Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale 28th Day Collection, Completes 4 Weeks at Box Office

4 Weeks Total Collection of ‘Bajirao Mastani’ & ‘Dilwale’

SRK-Kajol starrer ‘Dilwale’ and Ranveer-Deepika starrer ‘Bajirao Mastani’, both have completed their four weeks journey at box office. These are much awaited films of the last year and were released on the same day with huge excitement of fans as well as audience. Earlier everyone was suggesting Sanjay Leela Bhansali to step back and release his magnum opus Bajirao Mastani on some other week, as Dilwale starring the superstar Shahrukh Khan and obviously had huge hype among audience. But the clash occurred as per schedule but resulted out in opposite to that of expected. SRK’s Dilwale was started on an excellent note but slowed down so early, whereas Bajirao Mastani was started on a decent note but achieved great height with its steady run. Everyone showed thumbs up to this historical love story and made it third highest grosser film of year 2015 after Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.

In last three weeks, Bajirao Mastani was raked higher business than Dilwale on Indian screens. It was minted the amount of total 170.90 crores that includes 86.15 crores of first week, 55.70 crores of second week and 29.05 crores of third week. Whereas Dilwale grossed the amount of 146.68 crores that includes 102.65 crores of first week, 32.56 crores of second week and 11.47 crores of third week. At overseas box office, Dilwale is leading over Bajirao Mastani and grossed approx. 150 crores and 100 crores respectively till the end of third week.

In fourth week, Dilwale has witnessed very low response; collected amount of 1.34 crores in weekend and 0.70 crore in weekdays that includes 0.20 crore* of Monday, 0.17 crore* of Tuesday, 0.15 crore* of Wednesday and 0.18 crore* of Thursday. In parallel, Bajirao Mastani has recorded an average response; collected 6.45 crores in weekend and 3.66 crores in weekdays that includes 0.98 crore on Monday, 0.95 crore on Tuesday, 0.77 crore on Wednesday and 0.96 crore on Thursday. Till the end of four weeks, total collections of these two films are calculated as 148.72 crores and 181.01 crores respectively at domestic box office.
