‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ 27th Day Collection: Crosses 312 Cr in 27 Days at Domestic Box Office

Salman Khan starrer the biggest blockbuster of year 2015 ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has almost completed its fourth week. At worldwide box office it has already crossed the mark of 550 crores and at domestic box office it is running over 300 crores. Till its third week, the movie was performing with good pace and was leading at box office. But from fourth week, Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam has taken its position and now leading with highest collection of this week among all running movies.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan received huge appreciation from audience across the globe and become the most successful movie of Salman’s career so far. By dominating all the previous blockbuster movies, it has become the second highest grosser Bollywood movie of all time; just a position down from Aamir Khan’s PK. Now it is very tough to break the record of Bajrangi Bhaijaan for any movie coming this year except Salman Khan’s own Prem Ratan Dhan Payo that is scheduled to be released this Diwali with 5 days weekend.

In its first 3 weeks it made total business of 302.31 crores that includes 184.62 crores of first week, 87.63 crores of second week and rest 30.06 crores of the third week. Now it is running in fourth week and it was collected 7.69 crores as its 4th weekend total collection that includes 1.45 crores of Friday, 2.73 crores of Saturday and 3.51 crores of Sunday. On Monday being weekday it experienced high drop in its income and minted the amount of only 1.15 crore as its 25th day collection and 1.02 crore on Tuesday as its 26th day collection. On Wednesday has reported very low occupancy and made approx. 0.96 crore as its 27th day collection. At the end of the day, the total collection of Bajrangi Bhaijaan is recorded around 313.13 crores.
