Batti Gul Meter Chalu 6th Day Collection, Shahid-Shraddha starrer Earns 32 Crores

Where Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree is running steadily at the box office even in its fourth week, her recent offering Batti Gul Meter Chalu is not getting the desired response in its opening week. After a slow start, it picked up decently over the weekend but has slowed down now on weekdays.

Starring Shraddha alongside Shahid Kapoor, Yami Gautam & Divyendu Sharma, Batti Gul Meter Chalu has received mixed reactions from the critics. Although it has got succeed to entertain many in theaters, still the footfalls are not that good. Seems like, audiences are waiting for Sui Dhaaga releasing coming Friday.

Got released with a decent buzz, Shree Narayan Singh’s directorial took a slow start on the opening day. With an average jump over the weekend, it did the business of 23.26 crores that included 6.76 crores on Friday, 7.96 crores on Saturday, and 8.54 crores on Sunday.

On weekdays, as usual, due to normal working days, Batti Gul Meter Chalu witnessed an abrupt drop in footfalls. On Monday, it recorded a drop of 53.26% than Friday and collected the amount of 3.16 crores. Then with a further decline, the movie minted 2.91 crores on Tuesday,

On the next day i.e. Wednesday, Bhushan Kumar’s production got dropped again and garnered the business of 2.65 crores. With this, the total collection of BGMC after 6 days has become 31.98 crores nett (41 crores gross) at the domestic box office. As per the current trend, it won’t go past 34.25 crores by this week.
