Opening Day Box Office Response of Bhoothnath Returns
Amitabh Bachchan is the latest face seen in the horror comedy drama ‘Bhoothnath Returns‘ which is a sequel to the 2008 film of the same name “Bhoothnath”. This time this mega star senior actor has reprized his role of a friendly ghost once again with much fresh and new story. Bhoothnath Returns has released today with a good word of mouth. Right from the morning shows there was a good occupancy in the theaters and most of the audience comprised of families and kids. As this a family based film and a trwat to the kids audience but having a taste of political drama into it with comedy doses, mostly all of the audience loved the movie. First day opened to a decent occupancy with favorable excitement form the audience and positive collection. There couldn’t have been a better release for Bhoothnath Returns. The film is enjoying a solo arrival for itself, which is quite a rare scenario in today’s times.
1st Day Public Reviews for Bhoothnath Returns
Yes, there is election season ahead which has resulted in filmmakers rethinking about their release strategy. However in the bargain, Bhoothnath Returns now has an advantage of zero competition in theaters, which means if the film is indeed well made, it has chances to enjoy a stable week. the film would rely primarily on word of mouth and one can’t quite expect a bumper opening in the offering. Anything in the range of 40%-50% collections by end of the first weekend would be a decent enough start for the film which has Amitabh Bachchan as the major star attraction. Yes, there are Shahrukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor in cameo appearances too but then they haven’t been kept on the promotional forefront, and rightly so, lest audience expectations touch the roof. Bhoothnath Returns is the kind of film which always carries potential to grow if family audience likes the content. It is not to decide the fate of this movie just on the basis of 1st day as one must recall that the opening of even ‘Bhoothnath’ wasn’t any great one and the film had a barely average Week One, before settling down for a lifetime total of 25 crores. The makers of the sequel would be expecting this to be the total that is accumulated in one week flat.
