Ranbir Kapoor’s recent offering, the much hyped Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had reported excellent business in the opening week and still heading very smoothly on box office in the second week. Being highly promoted, it has been released with immense excitement of fans and as expected received overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as overseas.

Due to brilliant performances of lead stars, touching story and youthful music, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is being liked by everyone. Also it has received positive reviews from most of critics as well as moviegoers. These positive reactions have created favorable environment for it, which made it to rake higher business than the adjacent action thriller Shivaay.

With excellent occupancy through out and successfully cashed this festive season. The movie had registered the business of 80.19 crores in the opening week, that was included 35.60 crores of weekend and 44.59 crores in weekend due to holidays on Monday & Tuesday.

Now it has entered in second week and still has strong hold over audience. On its 2nd Friday, Ae Dil Hai Mushil has reported usual drop than Thursday and raked the business of 4.56 crores, which was surprisingly slightly lesser than Shivaay. Then on the next day i.e. Saturday, the movie showed decent rise in its business and added the amount of 5.85 crores to its account.

With this, 9 days total collection of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has become 90.60 crores on domestic box office. The movie is positively expected to receive more higher response on its 2nd Sunday and come closer to the 100 crore mark by this weekend.
