Star filmmaker Karan Johar’s very ambitious directorial venture, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has taken excellent start on box office despite the hectic-ness of Diwali festival. Being year’s one of the much awaited movies, Ranbir Kapoor starrer has been released with huge hype and as expected received overwhelmed response from audience across the country as well as overseas.

Due to its touching story, youthful music and marvelous performances by lead stars, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has received positive reviews from most of the critics as well as moviegoers and marked as perfect entertaining movie to watch. Audience also looking very much excited and showing big thumbs up for it. Everyone loved the beautiful chemistry between Ranbir Kapoor & Anushka Sharma.

On the opening day, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had recorded terrific occupancy of 40-45% across India in opposite to Ajay Devgn’s much awaited Shivaay. With positive response of audience as well as critics, it did the opening business of 13.30 crores and emerged as sixth highest opener of the year so far.

On Saturday, the movie remained strong and raked the business of 13.10 crores with almost similar occupancy. Then on the last day of weekend i.e. Sunday, it witnessed lesser footfall and minted the amount of 9.20 crores. With this, the opening weekend total collection of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was recorded as 35.60 crores on domestic box office and 41.05 crores from international market.

Now the movie has entered in weekdays but due to holidays, it is showing impressive performance. On Monday, it reported impressive jump in its occupancy and added the amount of 17.75 crores to its account. Now the 4 days total domestic collection of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has become 53.35 crores.
