Total Collection of Jolly LLB 2 after 1 Month in India

Second installment of Fox Star Studios’ much appreciated franchise that was began in 2013 with Jolly LLB, Jolly LLB 2 has completed it’s one month journey on box office. The movie was released on 10th of February with enormous excitement of fans of superstar Akshay Kumar and as expected received very positive response from the audience.

With the good content and wonderful performances by the lead actors Akshay, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla, Jolly LLB 2 has impressed all the critics and gained strong word of mouth. As a result, it emerged as the first clean hit of the year and acquired second position among top grossing movies of the year so far after Shahrukh Khan’s Raees.

In the opening week, Subhash Kapoor’s directorial witnessed amazing response and raked the excellent business of 77.71 crores from around 3500 screens across India. In its second week too, the movie remained strong despite several new offerings and secured the business of 26.74 crores.

In the third week, Jolly LLB 2 had new awaited Rangoon in opposite but still managed to collect the decent business of 8.52 crores. With more drop in the fourth week due to Vidyut Jammwal’s Commando 2, it did the business of 2.35 crores. After 4 weeks of release, total collection of the movie was recorded as 115.32 crores on domestic box office.

Now Jolly LLB 2 is running in its fifth week and has much awaited romantic comedy Badrinath Ki Dulhania in opposite. On 5th Friday, it minted the amount of 0.05 crore with usual drop. On the next day i.e. Saturday, due to weekend the movie showed little rise and added the amount of 0.07 crore to it’s account. With this, it’s one month (30 days) domestic total as 115.44 crores nett.
