Box Office: Baahubali 2 16th Day Collection, Dominates New Releases With No Mercy

16 Days Total Collection of Baahubali 2 Worldwide

Couple of weeks back released the magnum opus Baahubali 2 still enjoying it’s dream run at box office across the globe. The movie which has already emerged as the biggest grosser of all time in Indian cinema, showing no sign of it’s stoppage. With current trend, sky seems the only limit for it.

Ace director SS Rajamouli’s this epic action drama registered highest ever opening of Indian cinema and did the stupendous business of 534 crores in the opening week, with 247 crores from it’s Hindi screens and 287 crores from Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam from 6500 screens nationwide.

In the second week too, Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2 remained super strong and garnered the business of 266 crores, that included 143.25 crores of Hindi version and 122.75 crores of Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. After 2 weeks, total domestic collection of the movie was recorded as 800 crores nett (Hindi ₹390.25cr | TTM ₹409.75cr).

Now sequel to 2015’s Baahubali has entered in the third week and still has better hold over the audience than new releases across the country. On 3rd Friday, it faced around 20% of drop and minted the amount of 18.50 crores (Hindi ₹10.05cr | TTM ₹8.45cr).

On Saturday being weekend, Baahubali 2 witnessed almost 33% of growth and collected the amount of 27 crores (Hindi ₹14.75cr | TTM ₹12.25cr). As per the report, it’s 16 days domestic total has become 845.50 crores nett (Hindi ₹415.05cr | TTM ₹430.45cr) and 1128.32 crores gross.
