4 Days Total Collection of Baahubali 2 across India
After an outstandingly magical opening weekend, the epic action drama Baahubali 2 refused to take a dip in it’s performance. On Monday too, the movie got massive response from audience and added one more record of maximum Monday to the list. For the first time in history of Indian cinema, box office is witnessing such storm which is not less than a tsunami.
In the opening weekend, director SS Rajamouli’s this magnum opus reported almost 90% of occupancy throughout and did the stupendous business of 303 crores from all the versions, that included 121 crores of Friday, 90.50 crores of Saturday and 91.50 crores of Sunday from around 6500 screens across India.
With it’s dubbed Hindi version alone, Baahubali 2 has dominated many previous records of Hindi cinema and reported the business of 128 crores in the opening weekend, that included 41 crores of Friday, 40.50 crores of Saturday and 46.50 crores of Sunday. Rest 180 crores of domestic collection generated from Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam versions.
Now it has entered in weekdays and was expected to witness less footfall in theaters due to normal working days. But it remained strong on Monday and reported only 2% of drop than Friday. As per reports, Baahubali 2 collected the amount of 40.25 crores on the 4th day from Hindi screens and made it’s 4 days domestic total as 168.25 crores nett.
Including all the versions, Prabhas starrer raked 80 crores on Monday nationwide and made it’s domestic total as 383 crores nett. With this trend, Baahubali 2 has surpassed the lifetime total of Aamir Khan’s blockbuster PK (340.80 crores) in just 4 days of release.
