Box Office: Baahubali 2 is All Set to Gross Over 1000 Crores Worldwide by the 2nd Saturday

Baahubali 2 Soon to Enter in 1000 Crore Club Worldwide

After shattering all previous box office records of Indian cinema in the opening week only, India’s biggest blockbuster movie Baahubali 2 has now entered in it’s second week on a steady note. The magnum opus still has fabulous hold over the audience and all set to enter in 1000 crore club globally by 9th day of release.

Ace director SS Rajamouli’s this epic action drama was released with enormous buzz worldwide and received overwhelmed response from everyone. In the opening week it did the incredible business of 534 crores nett from 6500 screens across the country, that included 247 crores of it’s Hindi version and 287 crores of Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam versions.

In overseas market too, Baahubali 2 registered outstanding performance and raked the business of approx. 165 crores gross from 2500 screens there. This made, it’s worldwide gross over 875 crores after one week.

Now Rajamouli’s directorial is in weekend once again and faced no considerable drop in footfalls. On Monday, it added around 37 crores nett to it’s account at domestic box office. After 8 days, worldwide gross collection of Baahubali 2 was recorded over 935 crores including around 175 crores gross business from overseas.

The milestone of 1000 crores which everyone was expecting for the sequel to 2015’s Baahubali in a lifetime, that actually going to be achieved by the movie within just 9 days of release. This tells box office numbers can’t measure it’s strength, sky is the only limit for Baahubali 2.
