Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania 12th Day Collection, Crosses 96 Cr Total with 2nd Tuesday

Varun-Alia’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania 12 Days Total Collection

Last week released romantic comedy Hindi film Badrinath Ki Dulhania has emerged as the first super hit film of year 2017. Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer this offering is heading strongly from very first day of it’s release and all set to enter in 100 crore club by the end of this week.

Audience found Badrinath Ki Dulhania very entertaining and meaningful  as well because of it’s good take on feminism. From critics also, it has received very positive reviews and gained good word of mouth. As a result, the film has performed excellent throughout the journey so far globally.

With high initial buzz, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial started it’s journey on an impressive and did the business of 73.66 crores in the opening week, which was including 43.05 crores of weekend and 30.61 crores of weekdays from more than 3000 screens across the country.

Now Badrinath Ki Dulhania is running in the second week and despite several new Hindi release, it enjoyed the weekend on a good note. This second installment of the franchise that was began in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, reported year’s second best weekend-2 business with 17.56 crores including 4.21 crores of Friday, 5.90 crores of Saturday and 7.45 crores of Sunday.

After the second weekend, total collection of Varun-Alia starrer was recorded as 91.22 crores on domestic box office. Once again, the film is in weekdays and asusual witnessing lesser footfalls in theaters than before. On 2nd Monday, it faced 35% of drop than Friday and managed to add the amount of 2.72 crores to it’s account.

With further drop on Tuesday, Badrinath Ki Dulhania is has made it’s 12 days domestic total as 96.39 crores with the business of 2.45 crores on 2nd Tuesday. The film still has good hold over the audience and positively expected to touch the mark of 100 crores by this week domestically.
