Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania 6th Day Collection, Crosses 68 Cr Total till Wednesday

After an excellent weekend, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer recent offering Badrinath Ki Dulhania is heading steadily in weekdays. The movie was released with immense excitement of fans as well as audience and as expected witnessed favorable response of them across the country. Most of the critics have also reacted in its favor, which generated good word of mouth about it.

Due to high initial buzz, Badrinath Ki Dulhania started it’s journey on a solid note and registered the third highest opening of the year so far with 12.25 crores. In the opening weekend with good footfalls throughout, it did an impressive business of 43.05 crores from more than 3000 screens in India, which was including 12.25 crores of Friday, 14.75 crores of Saturday and 16.05 crores of Sunday.

From international market also, this Karan Johar’s venture has reported quite good business of 18.71 crores first 3 days of release. Now the movie is running in weekdays and asusual getting lesser occupancy in theaters than weekend. On Monday there was a holiday due to Holi festival, so director Shashank Khaitan’s this romantic comedy remained strong and raked the business of 12.08 crores.

On Tuesday being normal working day, Badrinath Ki Dulhania recorded the fall of around 38% than previous day and added the amount of 7.52 crores to its account. On the next day i.e. Wednesday, with further drop it minted the amount of 5.95 crores. After this, 6 days total collection of the movie has become 68.60 crores on domestic box office.
