Box Office: Badrinath Ki Dulhania 9th Day Collection, Earns Near 84 Cr Total with 2nd Saturday

9 Days Total Collection of ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ across India

Second installment of the romantic comedy franchise that was began in 2014 with Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has already completed it’s one week journey on an excellent note and still ruling on box office in the second week despite several new Hindi offerings. With immense excitement of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt‘s fans, the film was released last Friday and as expected favorable response from audience.

Everyone including critics found Badrinath Ki Dulhania very entertaining and meaningful. With it’s good content and marvelous performances by the lead stars, the film has impressed all the viewers and performed excellently on box office so far. In the opening weekend, Shashank Khaitan’s directorial recorded very good occupancy throughout and did the business of 43.05 crores from more than 3000 screens.

The weekend business of Badrinath Ki Dulhania was including 12.25 crores of Friday, 14.75 crores of Saturday and 16.05 crores of Sunday. Then in weekdays also it remained steady and added the total amount of 30.61 crores with 12.08 crores of Monday, 7.52 crores of Tuesday, 5.95 crores of Wednesday and 5.06 crores of Thursday. After the opening week, total collection of Varun-Alia starrer was recorded as 73.66 crores.

Now the film is running in it’s second weekend and successfully leading over the new releases- Machine, Aa Gaya Hero, Trapped & Beauty And The Beast. On 2nd Friday, Badrinath Ki Dulhania faced only 17% of drop than previous day and added the amount of 4.21 crores to its account. On 2nd Saturday being weekend and due to positive word of mouth, it estimated to garner the business of around 5.90 crores and to make it’s 9 days domestic total as 83.77 crores.
