Box Office: Befikre 8th Day Collection, Crosses 50 Cr Total till 2nd Friday across India

8 Days Total Collection of YRF’s Befikre

With abrupt fall in weekdays, Aditya Chopra’s Befikre has completed the opening week on a decent note, despite a strong start. Now it has entered in the second week and crossed the mark of 50 crores on domestic box office with the end of its 8th day. Being highly promoted, Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer this romantic drama was released with much buzz and witnessed good craze of youth audience in early days.

As always Ranveer has given entertaining performance and come out as the highlight of the movie, but still due to its weak story Befikre has received mixed reviews from critics. Although most of the viewers have reacted in its favor but that didn’t work in weekdays. This is the second shock for Yash Raj Films after Shahrukh Khan’s Fan, which was also expected to perform well on box office.

In the opening weekend, Befikre recorded strong occupancy through out and did the business of 34.43 crores with 10th highest opening of the year so far. The weekend total is including 10.36 crores of Friday, 11.60 crores of Saturday and 12.47 crores of Sunday. In weekdays, the movie got lesser response than expected and minted the amount of 5.20 crores on Monday, 3.59 crores on Tuesday, 3.02 crores on Wednesday and 2.51 crores on Thursday.

After the first week, total collection of Befikre was recorded as 48.75 crores from 2100 screens of India. Now it has entered in the second week and has erotic thriller Wajah Tum Ho in opposite. As per report it has added the business of 1.68 crore to its account with further drop. With this, its 8 days domestic total has become 50.43 crores.
