Box Office: Dangal 15th Day Total Collection, Grossed Over 500 Crore in China

Aamir Khan’s Dangal Entered in 500 Crore Club at China Box Office

Not only SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, but Aamir Khan’s Dangal is also storming in international market. After showing an outstanding performance in it’s initial release, now this sports biopic is reigning at China box office. Within just 15 days of release, it has grossed more than 500 crores from there.

Dangal Grossed Over 500 Crores from China

In the opening week, Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial reported way better performance than Aamir Khan’s previous blockbuster PK and did the business of 164.59 crores gross ($25.57mn), that included 78.31 crores ($12.17mn) of weekend and 86.28 crores ($13.40mn) of weekdays from 9000 screens.

In the second week, instead of dropping it turned monstrous and garnered the massive business of 324.94 crores gross ($50.47mn) with 209.14 crores ($32.60mn) of weekend and 115.80 crores ($17.87mn) of weekdays. After 2 weeks, total collection of Dangal was recorded as 489.53 crores ($76.04mn) across China.

Now the film has entered in it’s third weekend and once again started enjoying increased footfalls. On 3rd Friday, Dangal witnessed fair growth and minted the amount of 39.06 crores ($6.05mn). With this, it’s 15 days gross total has become 528.59 crores ($82.09mn).

It is positively expected to go past 600 crores gross by this weekend. Hard to believe but Dangal is giving strong competition to the highly buzzed American offering Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 at China box office and might surpass it in coming days.
