Box Office: Dangal 28th Day Collection, Grosses 1000 Crore Total from China in 4 Weeks

4 Weeks Total Collection of Aamir Khan’s Dangal

Aamir Khan’s biggest blockbuster Dangal has completed it’s 4 weeks journey at China box office on a phenomenal note. After impressing the entire world, the movie was released last month in China and received overwhelmed response from everyone there. At worldwide box office, it has dominated the mammoth Baahubali 2 (yet to release in China).

In the opening week, Nitesh Tiwari’s directorial registered the humongous business of 164.59 crores gross ($25.57mn) opposite to highly buzzed American offering Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, that included 78.31 crores ($12.17mn) of weekend and 86.28 crores ($13.40mn) of weekdays from 9000 screens.

In the second week, instead of slowing down Dangal turned monstrous and did the higher business of 324.94 crores gross ($50.47mn) with 209.14 crores ($32.60mn) of weekend and 115.80 crores ($17.87mn) of weekdays.

Then in the third week too, the movie remained strong across China and raked the business of 295.31 crores gross ($45.49mn), including 219.07 crores ($33.92mn) of weekend and 76.24 crores ($11.57mn) of weekdays.

In it’s fourth weekend despite having Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, this sports biopic remained excellent and garnered the business of 73.28 crores gross ($11.37mn), that included 12.38 crores ($1.92mn) of Friday, 18.64 crores ($2.89mn) of Saturday and 42.26 crores ($6.56mn) of Sunday.

In weekdays, Dangal performed steadily and fetched the business of 52.61 crores ($8.17mn) on it’s 4th Monday. With usual drop, it minted 41.27 crores ($6.41mn) on Tuesday and 12.37 crores ($1.92mn) on Wednesday.

On the last day of week i.e. Thursday, the movie recorded almost similar response and collected the amount of 30.08 crores ($4.67mn) to raised it’s 4 weeks gross total to 994.45 crores ($153.73mn). As per reports from distributors, the cumulative gross total of Dangal has become $159.47mn i.e. 1027.23 crores.
