Box Office: Dishoom 8th Day Collection, Crosses 55 Cr Total till its 2nd Friday

Rohit Dhawan’s recent directorial venture Dishoom has completed one week journey on a good note. Being John Abraham, Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer this action-adventure has been released with good hype among audience as expected witnessed satisfactory response across the country.

Unfortunately the movie has not received much positive reviews from critics but most of audience has reacted in favor of it, due to which it has registered the 6th highest opening week collection record of the year after Sultan, Housefull 3, Airlift, Fan & Baaghi.

This is the third offering of producer Sajid Nadiadwala in this year after Baaghi and Housefull 3. Last both the movies were successful and the latest one is also going well. So the producer is all set to hit hat-trick with Dishoom, in fact the team has already celebrated its success.

In the opening week Dishoom reported decent occupancy through out and did the business of total 53.34 crores net, including 37.32 crores of weekend and 16.02 crores of weekdays. From overseas market too, it reported quite good response and minted the amount of 20.06 crores.

Now the movie has entered in the second week and witnessed little higher drop than previous day in its occupancy. With almost 10% of occupancy across the country, Dishoom added the amount of 2.30 crores to its account and take its 8 days domestic total to 55.64 crores.
