5 Days Total Collection of Fast And Furious 8 (The Fate Of The Furious)

This week’s much awaited offering from Hollywood, The Fate Of The Furious a.k.a Fast And Furious 8 is all set to enter in 50 crore club at Indian box office soon. Although it remained comparatively lower than the previous installment of the franchise i.e. Fast And Furious 7 so far but still impressive as compare to previous English offerings of this year.

The Fate Of The Furious 5 Days Total Collection

Director F. Gary Gray’s this action thriller movie received amazing response from Indian audience and successfully dominated the adjacent Bollywood release Begum Jaan. From most of the critics too, it received positive reviews but they added that this latest installment is not much superb as the previous one.

The Fate Of The Furious has been released in India on Thursday (13th April) a day than it’s US release (14th April) and also had paid previews on Wednesday i.e. 12th of April, with which it fetched the amount of 6.29 crores from around 1600 screens across the country. Then on the opening day with fair growth it added the amount of 9.75 crores.

On Friday being Good Friday, the movie showed more growth and managed to rake the business of 11.25 crores at Indian box office. While the newly released Begum Jaan did the business of only 3.94 crores on the same day from around 1100 screens. On the next day i.e. Saturday, Vin Diesel starrer remained strong and minted 10.75 crores.

On Sunday with highest occupancy of the weekend, The Fate Of The Furious garnered the business of 12 crores and made it’s 4-days (plus paid previews on Wednesday) opening weekend total as 50.04 crores nett (69.50 crores gross). Now the movie has entered in weekdays and started getting lesser footfalls in theaters.

On it’s first Monday, The Fate Of The Furious recorded 47% of drop than Thursday and collected the amount of 5.15 crores (7.15 crores gross). With this, it’s 5 days total collection has become 55.19 crores nett (76.65 crores gross) across the country.
